Oh shit guys, I've only now realized I forgot to post this; I could swear I did it last weekend, but as it seems I only made the sketch and never actually hit post. Oopsie.
Anyways, here's my September recap & October TBR, 10 days overdue.
September recap
- 5 books
- genres: young adult (5), contemporary (2), historical fiction (2), dystopian (1), fantasy (1)
- average rating:
>> All for the Game - This month I've discovered one of the best ya/contemporary series I've ever had the pleasure of reading and my life hasn't been the same since! I strongly suggest you give these books a chance- I promise you won't regret it.
>> Capturing the Devil - A grand finale to one of my favourite historical fiction series of all time--that turned out not to be as grand as I expected. It wasn't bad, but it definitely lacked that something that'd drawn me to Maniscalco's other books.
>> Ten Thousand Doors of January - A beautiful and incredibly unique piece of fiction that I thoroughly enjoyed, even though I had some issues with the pacing.
>> Pacifica - This went down a much different direction than I thought it would, but maybe that's one of the reasons it pleasantly surprised me.
